Art has to connect with life':Intl Art Curator - Christine Litz is a leading art historian in Germany and project manager of Documenta 13, a world famous exhibition of contemporary art. At the same time, Susanne Titz is director of Germany's Museum Abteiberg. The two were in Kolkata lately for a meet on Public Art, put together by institutions like the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (Ficci), Max Mueller Bhavan, Kolkata Museum of Modern Art (KMOMA) and Kolkata Municipal Corporation. The RBI action begins to address the risks emanating from a potential further rise in inflation and trade deficit, says Chetan Ahya of Morgan Stanley on CNBC TV18. We expect the RBI to maintain this tightening path, lifting policy rates by another 25 bps on April 20, he adds. We maintain our estimate of a cumulative repo rate hike of 100 bps in 2010, he says.

At this hour the market is off the low's of the day but trading quite tentative with real estate taking a beating following the repo rate hike. Sensex is trading at 17502, down 75 points from its previous close, and Nifty is at 5235, down 27 points. CNX Midcap index is down 0.2% and BSE Smallcap index is also down 0.2%. The market breadth is negative with advances at 458 against declines of 789 on the NSE.
